Yeah I know looks sweet, let me be a spoiler before giving you the real gist on how to set this up, the whatsapp contact widget can be shown up / down of the left or right side of your site this seedepends on your template though, your web visitors would clearly and soothingly see the whatsapp icon, just by tapping the whatsapp icon, they will be redirected to whatsapp to contact you which you must have set up the widget with your correct phone number be sure to first include your country code before your number, for Nigerians use [+234], Ghana [+233], USA and Canada [+1], London [+44] and so on. For people not belonging to this countries just Google search for your country code and use it together with ur phone number. 

HOW TO SET UP THE WHATSAPP WIDGET TO SHOW UP ON YOUR WEBSITE. 

➡️First recommended way as given to your website template is to access your site layout and go for the social media pages, usually in link list you can add for other social accounts also, so create folder for whatsapp make sure you write it in small letter and for the direct link to message you on WhatsApp enter the link in this format 👉 your country code followed by your phone number without the 0 for example here's mine +2349068019613 and save. With that link your clients will be easily taken to your inbox on WhatsApp. So easy! 

➡️For those that don't have the above feature on their site theme or have it but don't like the display, you might like mine, scroll down you will see it, it's standing alone at the left side. If you want that do this, what you need is a script, after adding this script through your site layout, for blogs hosted on Blogspot, just go to layout and tap on add gadgets and select html/javascript and enter this, first download the 👉 THE CODE HERE

Copy all the html inside it and paste in the html of your site under layout. 

➡️Another easy way to add whatsapp widget icon on your site is to register on apps.elfsight.com, registration is free, you can simply register automatically with your Google or Facebook account just by clicking on sign in with and choose which you prefer, having successfully signed up and still logged into the site, select to add whatsapp widget, you will see for other social networks too you can select and then configure which ever you want first always make sure you start your links with https:// and then the direct link to your social profile account for example Facebook, it should be https://www.facebook.com/your page ID or account name for whatsapp just enter the same system as in the first option. An html or embed code will be generated for you, just input it on your layout, the html/javascript part and save.  

ON this third option, if you choose to create for other social media aside whatsapp, the html code you will get won't be for a stand alone widget as you see mine but will surely be on your site linked on with others.
